Styling My Toddler.

Hello Beautiful! I hope you all are having an amazing week so far. Today I want to talk about my addiction to buying baby clothes. HAHA! It really is an addiction. I can’t stop buying my squishy bear clothes. I love dressing him up in cute clothes, whether it be preppy to sporty. Not to toot my own horn, but he can rock everything he wears. Every time I dress him, I get all giddy and start laughing because he looks so flipping adorable and looks like a little man. I thought having a boy was going to be boring to dress up, granted girls do have a lot more stuff to work with, but I find is so much fun shopping and picking outfits for my son.

Since the day he was born I would always dress him up in cute outfits. Except the first two weeks we both stayed in pajamas all day, but I mean I was exhausted and it was my first time being a mommy. But, once I got the hang of it and I was able to peel myself off the bed, it was time to get cute. (For the both of us, I was looking rough). He has always had little baby shoes, I know some people think is stupid to buy baby shoes, I don’t care. Shoes made his whole outfit. Granted he has more shoes than me and my husband, but I can’t help it. I seriously get so much joy making my toddler look stylish. My favorite stores when was a baby was Jack & Janie, Gymboree, Carters, & OshGoshBgosh. His clothes now are mainly from Old Navy and Baby Gap, there is no beating their prices on cute and stylish clothes. I never pay full price for his clothes. They are always having amazing sales. I get so much for so little. I love those places. It also helps that his grandma constantly send him cute clothes. He honestly has more clothes and shoes than us. Who else has so much fun dressing their babies? Are there other stores you like shopping from?

I mean come on! Look how handsome he is. 83D59385-4A2A-48C0-A1F9-6750ACA0AF0C

Look how he can rock a kimono. Love it. I am obsessed with my child. What parent isn’t?

Food, Juice Bar, Memories

Best Juice Bar, Ever!

Let me tell you about the best juice bar I have ever been to. I don’t know what I’m going to do when it is time to go back to the states. It’s so delicious, no other juice bar in the states can compare. I have yet to find another juice bar as good out here in Japan. The first time I went was with my friend that introduced me to this beautiful place. I was hooked. Jason loves this place too. Today, I took my husband for the first time. He was pretty impressed, he was surprised that the actual drink looks like the picture on the menu. This place makes all the smoothies with fresh fruit, on top of being made fresh, they also put whip cream with fresh fruit on top with powdered sugar. SO GOOD! I would’ve never thought to put powdered sugar on fruit, but it’s yummy. The other times I have been to this place, I get a green grape smoothie. This drink is a mixture of sour and sweet. Like, it’ll get you in the back of the throat when you take that first sip. Today, I got a purple grape drink and the hubby got a strawberry drink. The purple grape smoothie was sweet, unlike the green grape one. Both are delicious. The shop itself, is small, like many places in Japan. It is so cute and chic. They are really Instagram ready. They seriously have cute props to make your smoothie look cute for an Instagram picture. I wish everyone could taste these delicious treats. I mean look how amazing these drinks look. What are y’alls  favorite juice bars?

Makeup, Self love, Shopping

But First, Makeup.

Hello Beautifuls! How many girls go into Sephora or Ulta and feel like they have died and gone to heaven? I’m sure it’s not only me. Now, I’m no beauty guru or have near as much makeup as they do, but I guess I have a pretty good amount of makeup. Makeup makes me feel confident and like I can take on the world. I still feel beautiful without makeup, but it gives me a little confident boost. I did not start getting into makeup until I was about 18 years old. I use to be more of a powder, eyeliner, and mascara kinda girl. Now I have to beat the face and slay. I don’t do my makeup very often, you know being a mother of a toddler and all. I usually do my makeup while he takes his afternoon nap. But, sometimes I’m so tired and have so much to do and I don’t have time to do a full face so I usually put concealer, powder, mascara, and eyeliner and call it a day. Down below I am going to talk about my favorite go-to products I use when I do a full face, from primer to setting spray.

LRG_DSC02813[1554]

This is by far my favorite primer at the moment. It makes my makeup look so smooth and flawless. This is the Marc Jacobs Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer. You can find it in Sephora for $44.00.

LRG_DSC02820[1555]

I have to foundations I use, but this is the one I reach for the most. It’s kind of annoying because it doesn’t have a pump, it has a dropper. Besides this little inconvenience its a great foundation, it wears beautifully without getting very cakey on the face. I either use my beauty blender or the tarte brush seen in this picture. It’s the Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation. it can also be found at Sephora for $44.00.

LRG_DSC02839[1560]

As you can see I am scraping the edges of this concealer. I don’t know what tarte created and did but, this is the amazing. It is so full coverage and so blendable, it is just simply amazing. Like I said before, sometimes I do not have the time to sit there and blend my foundation and do all this extra stuff. So, I just grab this tarte shapetape concealer and put a few dot under my eyes to  cover my black circle put some powder foundation and I am good to go. It is exclusively at Ulta and believe the tarte website for $27.00 , but if you need to know your shade you can go check them out at Ulta.

LRG_DSC02823[1556]

This right here is my holy grail for setting powders. It has got to be the most amazing powder ever! I set my whole face with this an a little goes a long way. Some setting powders leave a white cast and if taking a picture with flash it sure will have a flashback, but not this. I absolutely love this. It is a but pricey, compared to other setting powders, but to me this is worth every penny. This is the Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder, it is available at Sephora for $55.00. (I got this when they have the VIB rouge sale going on.)

LRG_DSC02836[1559]

These are my go-to blush and bronzer. The Becca Blush pallet has three beautiful blushes, this can’t be purchased it was a holiday collection from last year. But the bronzer is available at Ulta for $28.00. I love how bronzy it make my skin look. It brings a lot of product, I use this every time I do my makeup and I still have not hit pan. These two product sure bring my face back to life after foundations and powder.

Now we are getting into highlight. By far my favorite part of my makeup routine. This is a must. I can’t walk out the house without glowing to Jesus. I have many highlighter but this pallet right here, IS EVERYTHING! I was in Japan when this came out and I had my beautiful madre go get me this. She grabbed the last one in that store. This is a limited edition ABH Nicole Guerriero highlight pallet, so it was a big deal that I got it. There are 6 blinding highlighters. I mean this has me shinning like a diamond every time. I do not know what I am going to do once I hit pan.

LRG_DSC02826[1557]

These three are my go to eyeshadow pallets. I can created any eye look with these three. All three are super pigmented and blendable. The Lorac pallet was a holiday collection, but Lorac always comes out with a pro pallet during the holidays. The other two are at Sephora the ABH Modern Renaissance pallet is $42.00 and the small Huda Beauty pallet is $27.00. It is very compact and easy to travel with. I love burgundy and pinks, both the ABH and Huda pallet give me those colors. I use to always go for a brown and gold eye look, but I wet out of my comfort zone and I have never looked back.

Finally we get to mascara, eyeliner, and lips. My favorite mascara use to be Too Faced better than sex, but it always start to crumble and flake on my face. Then I found tarte light, camera, lashes, found at Sephora for $23.00. If you aren’t blessed like me and don’t have long, full lashes, this makes them look like they are. It is amazing. My favorite eyeliner is the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel eye Crayon Eyeliner at Sephora for $25.00. It is super black, I like to put it in my lower waterline to give a intense dark look. And my go-to lip has been just a lip liner from NYX and the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss at Sephora for $34.00. It make my lips look glossy and full.

Sunday Funday

Hello Beautifuls! I hope you all are having an amazing weekend so far. We had a lazy Saturday, but we had a pretty fun Sunday. We took Jason bowling for the first time, needless to say, he beat us. He sure is a natural. (who wouldn’t be with bumpers, right?) Our little professional bowler was still full of energy, so we took him to the park for a few. He loves swinging and going up and down the slides. It kills me how much he is growing and is capable of doing all these things on his own. I remember when I would have to hold him to go down the slides and swings. Where did my baby go? Stay little forever!

We came home and took our fur baby on a walk and watch the sunset. I swear Japan is so beautiful. I do not go on long walks, but this view was so amazing, it sure encouraged me to start going on long walks. Lucas sure didn’t mind the long walk. As I walked, I couldn’t believe how blessed I was. Above all, it was a great and fun day. What do you all do for fun? Well it is not like we will be able to do it for another two years. Maybe we can find something close to it here in Japan. Let me know down below! XOXO.

Set Goals & Crush them!

Hello Beautifuls! I am writing on here today to talk about goals. I know we are in the second week of January, but it’s never to late to set some goals. It does not matter if you want to set them in the middle of the year, month, or week. Goals are goals. Set them whenever you feel like you want to. This is the first year I have ever made a “dream/goals board”. I wanted to visualize my goals and dreams and put out good vibes out in the world. I pray everyday and declare my goals will come true in the name of Jesus Christ. Staying positive, keeping faith, and never giving up are key in making your goals happen. The two main goals I have set for this year are to travel with my little family and reach 500 followers on my blog. The other goals are to revamp my style and wardrobe, start a healthier lifestyle, and going back home to visit my family and friends. I am very excited for this year. This is going to be our year! I hope you all accomplish all your goals this year. XOXO.

Happy 1 Monthaversary!

Wow! It has been a whole month since I have started my blog. This is huge to me, because I never thought I would actually start my blog. I am so grateful for everyone who supports and follows my blogs. Thank you so much! I hope this year I can get my blog where I want it to be and I hope it reaches all around the world. This year is going to be filled with new experiences, goals, and achievements. I have crossed out “start a blog” off my goals list. One down, many to go. I can not wait to share those moments with you all. Since starting my blog, I have found so many great blogs to read and I have even inspired my best friend to start her own blog. This made me so happy. Little ol’ me , inspired one person. I know it does not seem like a big deal, it is only one person. But it is one more than I thought I would ever inspire. I hope in the future I’ll inspire many more. We can do anything we set out minds to. Thank you all for your support!!! XOXO.
