What I Got For My 26th Birthday.

Hello Beautifuls! How are y’all doing? It’s been about a month since my 26th birthday and I’ve finally able to show you everything I got. Since everything takes forever to get here I was waiting to receive everything. I’m extremely blessed and spoiled for sure, it seems every year it gets better and better. What is so funny about this year is somehow without coordinating, my gifts were in pink and rose gold. This obviously made me super happy. I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise it is my aesthetic. So, we will start with what my sweet hubby got me. Like always he goes above and beyond.

If you can’t tell by now I love me some jewelry and I love rose gold. My sweet husband got me some pieces from Swarovski and they are absolutely gorgeous!

But, it didn’t just stop there. For my birthday we headed to Hiroshima and went to my favorite preloved luxury store, Japan has the best preloved luxury stores EVER! You can find some great pieces for such a great price. So, it was no surprise that I found some great stuff. The first thing that I found were these basically brand new Gucci sunglasses. They are so my style and I kinda have an obsession with sunnies. The second thing I found was this super cute and dainty Dior necklace. What makes it even better is these two things were the fraction of the price of brand new Gucci glasses. YAY!

Moving onto what my amazing parents sent me. Just like the hubs, they always go above and beyond for me. I did give them there biggest blessing and obsession, Jason. Haha. Let’s get into the goodies. They went to my favorite stores, one being Sephora and picked me up a Dior eyeshadow and highlight pallet and one of my favorite Dior lipglosses. Then they headed to Pandora a got me a rose gold cute dainty heart ring, so pretty. They also went to my other favorite store, TARGET! They picked up some cute fall decor and the cutest friends sweater and lastly my mommy went and got me my all time favorite candle. I truly have the best parents.

Following what my parents bought me, I’ll be showing y’all what my sweet baby brothers got me. The fact that my baby brothers are all grown up and working and are able to get me presents just makes me cry. But, let me get out my feeling and show y’all. One of them got me some goodies from Sephora like, a Miss Dior perfume, a Dior lipgloss, and some eye patches. My other baby broski got me a Bluetooth record player I’ve had my eye on for a while from Urban Outfitters, it’s gorgeous. It’s a beautiful cream leather with rose gold accents. I can’t wait to buy some Christmas vinyls and play some good ol’ Christmas jingles.

Moving onto what my amazing friends got me. We will start with the gorgeous tray seen in my other pictures given to me by my friend Chrystal, it a mirrored rose gold tray, she just gets me and I was looking for one everywhere and I couldn’t find one I liked and she came through with the gem.

My Nugget bestie a.k.a nugz brought me back some goodies from the states. She got me some cute Minnie Mouse earrings with rose gold bows, a pink journal, and my all time favorite candle, champagne toast. She sure nailed it.

My friend TayTay gifted me a gift certificate for a facial. I had never gotten a facial before and it was the best thing ever. My face felt so good and glowy.

Finally, the gifts I treated myself to. You know you always gotta treat yo’self. The first treat yo’self gift is a Louis Vuitton Bandeau, I’ve also been on the hunt for a cute bandeau for my bag. This can elevate any bag, I love putting it on my clear amazon bag. It’s just makes it look soo cute. Last but not least, I got a Louis Vuitton 6 key holder. This really does help me not to loose my keys like I always did before and it’s super cute.

Well, that’s all for this year. Thank you for reading!

Happy 26th Birthday To Me!

Hello Beautifuls! I’m so excited to share with y’all what I did for my birthday. So, we don’t only celebrate on my birthday, we celebrate all weekend long and birthday so happens to fall on a long weekend. Woot Woot! Turning 26 is a little bittersweet for me, like in just 4 years I will be 30! I’m not going to lie I think I’m going to react just like Rachel did in friends, I think I’m going to react more like Joey, he was extra dramatic. But, for now I will enjoy everyday to the fullest!

On Saturday, we did something a bit low key and headed to the movies and watched the Addams family. It was mostly for Jason, but I love going to the movies and enjoying some buttery popcorn, nachos, and candy. So it was a win win. Following the movies we did a little bit of adulting and went grocery shopping. Fun stuff! We then came home, made some Halloween sugar cookies and had some wine. That’s how we ended the first day of my birthday fun.

On Sunday, we headed to Hiroshima for some shopping and birthday dinner. This day had some ups and downs, we will start with the bad news. So, let me start off by saying that this is the reason why we don’t like to explore and try new things. With that being said, there was this one restaurant that I’ve been wanting to go for a long time. It was a rooftop place, it looked super cute and the food looked like something we would enjoy. Omg! Was I wrong!!! The place was cute, but not quite kid friendly and the food was complete trash. It was sooo expensive and totally not worth it in my opinion. We paid $60 for what can only be called appetizers. The hubby got a plate of “assorted” sausage but, it looked like hotdog cut up into pieces, that plate was $10. I ordered shrimp that cost $7 for only TWO pieces of shrimp, they were pretty big but, it I could’ve done with out the heads still on them. Completely freaked me out for sure, I did try them but, I still did not like them. I could only swallow one. Nothing is worse than heartbreak than paying for food that was not good. Lol While, we were at dinner I checked our account and saw that the place I went to before dinner charged the card twice. So, we had to run all the way back, yes, run because we walked to the restaurant. We had to run back to the store before they closed to figure it out. So, turns out when I gave my card when I thought I was ready to check out it was ran but, I added one more item so, I didn’t authorize the first payment but, it somehow went through. So, now I have to wait to for all the payment to process and hopefully it gets cancelled out or I’m going to have to call the bank.Y’all have no idea how hard it was to try to explain what was wrong when we both didn’t understand each other. Here’s to hoping everything works out.

On to the good part, aside from the double charge on the card. I went to one of my favorite luxury thrift store in Hiroshima. This is the place I have gotten most of my preloved luxury items. I can always find some of stuff and I’m definitely going miss these amazing stores when we leave in a couple months. This trip no doubt didn’t disappoint, I found brand new Gucci sunglasses with the case for more than half off a brand new pair would cost in the store. I was super excited when I found these. Besides the sunglasses, I also found the cutest Christian Dior chocker, which is the item at messed everything up. Haha. Either way it was all worth it. It was a great time with my family and we got to experience new things which will probably be the last time we do so. Haha.

Today, is my actual birthday! Woot woot! I can only be thankful and blessed to have another year to share with my family. Since we have been going out for a couple of days, I decided to stay home open some more presents and relax. My hubby has to work tomorrow so, we needed this day to relax. Best way to celebrate my birthday was with cuddles and a lazy day. That’s all for the birthday fun, I will be posting all my presents once they arrive, living in Japan things take forever and a day to arrive so, patience is important out here. Haha. Til next time my beautifuls.

Hello Beautifuls!

Hello beautifuls! It has been a good while since I’ve posted. I’ve missed you all!!! I have been a bit busy, between having fun with my family back home and keeping my very active tiny human alive. So many exciting things are happening and changing in our lives, I can hardly contain my excitement. But, I’m back in Japan and currently waiting for this fall weather to make its way here, I’m over this heat.

First piece of exciting news is, I passed my certification classes with flying colors and I’m beyond happy to have finished those classes. It’s not much but, its a little jump on my way to my goal. Also, that’s one of my goals I can cross off from my goal board I put together at the beginning of the year.

The following is a super exciting! We are going California!!!! In March, we will be headed to the west coast and I couldn’t be anymore excited. We will be surrounded with beautiful beaches, L.A, Disneyland, amazing food, and Rodeo Drive! I’m already writing down a list of things we can do. Maybe, take a little trip to Las Vegas for birthday, there’s just so much possibilities and I’m overly gitty to be back in a place where there’s a target! Haha.

The final piece of news is that I will be turning 26 is exactly 7 days away. This is a bittersweet moment, mainly because I will be turning 30 in about 4 years! Which is scary but, exciting at the same time. I will be posting about the festivities and of course a birthday haul of all the goodies.

Well, that’s all for now. It’s good to be back. Hopefully, I can be a more consistent. Til, next time.

Stop With The Staring!

Hello beautifuls! Today’s post is for all the mamas, daddy’s, anyone who has a baby/ toddler in their lives. I wanted to give a little bit of encouragement to y’all, sometimes we need to hear that we are doing a good job and a great parents.

Reason I want to talk about this topic is because today I was watching my beautiful cousins Instagram stories and she was talking about her trip to Barnes and Nobles with her older son and twins to buy some books. As, I was watching her story I couldn’t help but think about how great of a mom she is. Y’all! She’s got twin boys! I can barely handle my one and only son sometimes, I can’t even imagine trying to care for two toddlers at the same time. So, I decided to message her and tell her what a great mom she is and I kept watching her stories. This is where my mommy nerve got struck.

As, she is talking about the books she bought the boys, she goes into saying that she wasn’t able to grab a book she’s been wanting to read due to the twins getting antsy. When babies and toddlers decide they had enough, they will let you know with a scream or cry that’ll probably make you rethink becoming a parent. Not gonna lie, it’s an awful noise. There’s no controlling it, you can give them anything in the world and it will not calm them down. So, my cousin was explaining that the twins got to that point. This doesn’t mean we are bad moms or bad parents.

We simply can’t control it and when you try to control it, it gets worse. These little humans are difficult little creatures and we don’t need people staring at us like, “get your life and kids together, why are you out in public.” This is what my cousin experienced. No one knows what someone is going through, so your judgey looks don’t really help either. If you think if your nasty look is going to give the mom the power to calm her kid down, you’re an idiot. I just don’t understand why people feel so high and mighty and try to shame a mom like that and make us feel like we are such failures. This is how they made my cousin feel and she felt embarrassed, I didn’t know about this until after I sent her a message saying she was a great mom. I guess it was great timing.

We know the screams and cries are intense and quite annoying. Trust me, we are hearing the same thing. Maybe, instead of giving a dirty look or stare, say “it’ll be okay” give us a nod and smile, if not just don’t look at us at all! Go about your damn day! We have a right to go out and enjoy a day out the house with actual clothes and a new scenery. It takes a lot for us to get the kids ready, get ourselves ready, pack their stuff, put them in the car, it’s a huge process. Whether we are at a restaurant, shopping, or at Barnes and Noble. Matter of a fact the many Barnes and Nobles I’ve been to had a pretty big sections for kids, they even carry toys. I’m sure they knew if kids would be going there to pick out books, it would be noisy.

Either way, just stop being so judge mental and pretending to be so perfect. You can stare at me all you want and I’m going to stare right back and go about my way to find what I came there for. After all, I had to wrestle my toddler to get into clothes, put on his shoes multiple times. I didn’t do all that for nothing. But, not everyone can do it, it’s hard to not give a crap about what other people say but, it comes a time when you have to say enough is enough and just let it be what it is.

I’m very glad I messaged my cousin and I was able to give her some words of encouragement and hopefully made her feel a tad bit better. She is an amazing mother and God gave her these beautiful twins to love and care for and God does not give us anything we can’t handle. Don’t get me wrong I’m not an expert whatsoever but, I feel like we should be encouraging and helping each other instead of making us feel like we can’t care for our kids. Every parent is different and their parenting style is different, so if you have some tips that you may think will make it better, pass it along. If the “perfect” Pattys of the world want to pass down their wisdom on how to control some toddlers, pass it on girly. Haha, I’m kidding keep it to yourself cause no one is perfect.

To all my mamas, you’ve got this! No your toddler is not the only one that wants to run around the store. No, your toddler is not the only one that wanted to take a nap on the floor and got mad when you picked them up. No, you’re baby is not the only one that is hungry and is crying to let you know. Hell, I’m 25 years old and I cry when I’m hungry. You’re not alone in this crazy thing that is called being a parent. Much love to you all!!! Hug those little booger’s extra tight, they won’t stay little for long!

Okinawa Trip.

Hello Beautifuls! We got back from our family vacation a few days ago. It was an amazing trip, we got to celebrate Jason’s 3rd birthday our there, but we were ready to be home! Mainly because I fly out to Florida Wednesday so, I wanted a few days to rest before I had to tackle the airport with a toddler again, BY MYSELF. The struggle is all worth it though when I see my crazy family and I’ll have round o’clock babysitters so, I’ll get to rest. Lol. Back to our Okinawa trip, we had a blast and just so happy to see our besties again. Jason and Perri were inseparable and troublemakers for sure but, put two toddlers in the same house and what do you expect. Especially only child toddlers.

We went on a few adventures while we were there, we also stayed in and relaxed because well, it’s a vacation. No need to run ourselves ragged. Also, doing things with toddlers is already an adventure it’s self.

On our first adventure in Okinawa was this park called pineapple park. Yes, it’s a park about pineapples. We stumbled upon it looking a for a park with dinosaurs but, we couldn’t find it. Luckily, this place had a little dinosaur exhibit. Jason and Perri are into dinosaurs so it was a hit with the kids and it was a really cool experience for Jason. We thought it would scare him and we would never have to see Jurassic park movie again. We were wrong. It was an interesting park to say the least.

We ate at a cute little place called Calin. We ate taco rice casserole and had some yummy French toast and parfait for dessert. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture, my toddler dug right in.

Following this fun adventure, we did something a little bit more cultured. We visited the Shuri Castle, they even had a little stamp map and at the end of the course of we got all the stamps we got a little souvenir. It was a gorgeous castle, the kids sure did enjoy running around and burning off some energy. The locals were also taking pictures with the kids it was quite funny. They were like little celebrities.

The last big adventure we had was for Jason Birthday! He woke up to balloons and gifts. We went to the second biggest aquarium there is. We saw big sting rays, a whale shark, a big ugly fish, and a dolphin show with the most amazing view. Jason was so intrigued by the sharks, they are a favorite as well. I got the kids matching shirts, they looked soo cute. It was a great day and full of fun memories. We then celebrated at home with some cupcakes my bestie was kind enough to make for him. She’s the best! Jason also bought some souvenirs with the money my parents and brother sent him. He was also sweet enough to pick out a pink dolphin for his best friend Perri. It literally melted my heart how giving and thoughtful my squishy is.

The rest of the days were pretty chill and we went to a place called American village and the views were gorgeous! We ate at this amazing burger place and had ice cream at blue seal. It was all so yummy.

I also had to get some souvenirs from this trip. The most important one is my Starbucks mug, I now have 4 Mugs from different places in Japan. I also picked up a magnet, a pin, & a keychain and picture from the pineapple park.

It was a beautiful island and a great experience. I’m absolutely blessed to have been able to go this trip and make memories with my family and friend. Like, y’all can see I wasn’t lying when I said they were inseparable. They held hands and hugged all the time. It’s was so sweet, my heart just melted every time. Now, I have to prepare for my trip to Florida!

Saying Goodbye To The Tori Gate.

Hello beautifuls! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on here, I miss y’all! How y’all been? How are y’all spending your Memorial Day weekend?

We had a pretty adventurous weekend. We started off by going to the island of Miyajima to see the Tori Gate before it went down to be reconstructed. It will be going under construction this June and will be down for two years. We will be leaving Japan next year. It was the prefect opportunity to go on a little adventure and get a picture and create memories before we depart.

This island is also known as deer island, as there are wild deer everywhere. It’s not advise to feed them or they will stalk you forever. Jason was frightened at first but, then got use to them and wanted to pet them. Besides the deers, it was nice to see the architecture and shrines.(It’s not allowed to take pictures of the shrines). The hubby and squishy got some ice cream and I, of course got some Starbucks. The whole island is so beautiful, it truly is an experience.

Today, Memorial Day, we went over to a friends house and had a cookout. Being with our military family and eating was a great way to spend this day. I’m truly blessed to have my husband home everyday. My heart goes out to all the families that have lost their loved ones fighting for our amazing country. This day is for you, you may be gone but never forgotten.

What To Get Mom?

Hello Beautifuls! Mother’s Day is this Sunday and even though we should always feel special and make our moms feel special, it’s nice to be extra spoiled and pampered for a day. Speaking of being spoiled, I have some ideas on some gifts that moms would love. Some are on my wishlist but, my wishlist can get a bit pricey so, I’ll be sharing some more affordable gifts.

So let’s start with my wishlist. They range from a mug to luxury. First on the list is a mug from Etsy. It’s super cute and funny. As, a mother some of us don’t really get much sleep. Mainly because we stay up late getting stuff cleaned and getting some time to yourself. Even though, we stay up late it doesn’t mean we get to sleep in so, we have to wake up when we have a toddler in your face at 6am. So, we may have some dark circles and bags under our eyes and this mug is super relatable.

Isn’t it the cutest? You can find it here The Bags Under My Eyes Are Louis Vuitton .

Following item on my wishlist is from Melsy Illustrations, it’s the cutest drawing of a mother and son. You can customize the color of skin and hair. It’s so cute and perfect for a mother of a boy. She also has a mom and daughter drawing too.

It’s just so adorable and a great piece to add to any work space or home. Click here to find it. Melsy Illustration .

Every mom needs a little something special. The last thing on my wish list is this simple Tiffany’s ring. The way it can be made special is Tiffany & Co. can engrave anything you want on the inside. It could be the kids initials or birthday, basically anything you want.

Get this simple yet iconic ring at Tiffany & Co. Ring. .

Moving onto some ideas that aren’t on my wishlist but, are still nice to get.

A simple little painting from the kids would be a great gift for the grandmas in their lives. Even if it’s just a hand print it will be cherished.

One can always appreciate a beautiful bouquet of flowers. A GOOD breakfast in bed. A nice dinner with the family. These last one not one penny needs to be spent and they are letting mom sleep in, and when I say sleep in , I mean take the kids out of the house. I don’t know about other moms but, I know even if I want to sleep in I’m always listening on what’s going on in the living room. So, take the kids out of the house. Maybe do the dishes. Put in a load of laundry and put it away. These little things would mean the world to a mom. Am I right, mamas?

Well, I hope all you mamas have a great Mother’s Day!
