Okinawa Trip.

Hello Beautifuls! We got back from our family vacation a few days ago. It was an amazing trip, we got to celebrate Jason’s 3rd birthday our there, but we were ready to be home! Mainly because I fly out to Florida Wednesday so, I wanted a few days to rest before I had to tackle the airport with a toddler again, BY MYSELF. The struggle is all worth it though when I see my crazy family and I’ll have round o’clock babysitters so, I’ll get to rest. Lol. Back to our Okinawa trip, we had a blast and just so happy to see our besties again. Jason and Perri were inseparable and troublemakers for sure but, put two toddlers in the same house and what do you expect. Especially only child toddlers.

We went on a few adventures while we were there, we also stayed in and relaxed because well, it’s a vacation. No need to run ourselves ragged. Also, doing things with toddlers is already an adventure it’s self.

On our first adventure in Okinawa was this park called pineapple park. Yes, it’s a park about pineapples. We stumbled upon it looking a for a park with dinosaurs but, we couldn’t find it. Luckily, this place had a little dinosaur exhibit. Jason and Perri are into dinosaurs so it was a hit with the kids and it was a really cool experience for Jason. We thought it would scare him and we would never have to see Jurassic park movie again. We were wrong. It was an interesting park to say the least.

We ate at a cute little place called Calin. We ate taco rice casserole and had some yummy French toast and parfait for dessert. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture, my toddler dug right in.

Following this fun adventure, we did something a little bit more cultured. We visited the Shuri Castle, they even had a little stamp map and at the end of the course of we got all the stamps we got a little souvenir. It was a gorgeous castle, the kids sure did enjoy running around and burning off some energy. The locals were also taking pictures with the kids it was quite funny. They were like little celebrities.

The last big adventure we had was for Jason Birthday! He woke up to balloons and gifts. We went to the second biggest aquarium there is. We saw big sting rays, a whale shark, a big ugly fish, and a dolphin show with the most amazing view. Jason was so intrigued by the sharks, they are a favorite as well. I got the kids matching shirts, they looked soo cute. It was a great day and full of fun memories. We then celebrated at home with some cupcakes my bestie was kind enough to make for him. She’s the best! Jason also bought some souvenirs with the money my parents and brother sent him. He was also sweet enough to pick out a pink dolphin for his best friend Perri. It literally melted my heart how giving and thoughtful my squishy is.

The rest of the days were pretty chill and we went to a place called American village and the views were gorgeous! We ate at this amazing burger place and had ice cream at blue seal. It was all so yummy.

I also had to get some souvenirs from this trip. The most important one is my Starbucks mug, I now have 4 Mugs from different places in Japan. I also picked up a magnet, a pin, & a keychain and picture from the pineapple park.

It was a beautiful island and a great experience. I’m absolutely blessed to have been able to go this trip and make memories with my family and friend. Like, y’all can see I wasn’t lying when I said they were inseparable. They held hands and hugged all the time. It’s was so sweet, my heart just melted every time. Now, I have to prepare for my trip to Florida!

Saying Goodbye To The Tori Gate.

Hello beautifuls! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on here, I miss y’all! How y’all been? How are y’all spending your Memorial Day weekend?

We had a pretty adventurous weekend. We started off by going to the island of Miyajima to see the Tori Gate before it went down to be reconstructed. It will be going under construction this June and will be down for two years. We will be leaving Japan next year. It was the prefect opportunity to go on a little adventure and get a picture and create memories before we depart.

This island is also known as deer island, as there are wild deer everywhere. It’s not advise to feed them or they will stalk you forever. Jason was frightened at first but, then got use to them and wanted to pet them. Besides the deers, it was nice to see the architecture and shrines.(It’s not allowed to take pictures of the shrines). The hubby and squishy got some ice cream and I, of course got some Starbucks. The whole island is so beautiful, it truly is an experience.

Today, Memorial Day, we went over to a friends house and had a cookout. Being with our military family and eating was a great way to spend this day. I’m truly blessed to have my husband home everyday. My heart goes out to all the families that have lost their loved ones fighting for our amazing country. This day is for you, you may be gone but never forgotten.

What To Get Mom?

Hello Beautifuls! Mother’s Day is this Sunday and even though we should always feel special and make our moms feel special, it’s nice to be extra spoiled and pampered for a day. Speaking of being spoiled, I have some ideas on some gifts that moms would love. Some are on my wishlist but, my wishlist can get a bit pricey so, I’ll be sharing some more affordable gifts.

So let’s start with my wishlist. They range from a mug to luxury. First on the list is a mug from Etsy. It’s super cute and funny. As, a mother some of us don’t really get much sleep. Mainly because we stay up late getting stuff cleaned and getting some time to yourself. Even though, we stay up late it doesn’t mean we get to sleep in so, we have to wake up when we have a toddler in your face at 6am. So, we may have some dark circles and bags under our eyes and this mug is super relatable.

Isn’t it the cutest? You can find it here The Bags Under My Eyes Are Louis Vuitton .

Following item on my wishlist is from Melsy Illustrations, it’s the cutest drawing of a mother and son. You can customize the color of skin and hair. It’s so cute and perfect for a mother of a boy. She also has a mom and daughter drawing too.

It’s just so adorable and a great piece to add to any work space or home. Click here to find it. Melsy Illustration .

Every mom needs a little something special. The last thing on my wish list is this simple Tiffany’s ring. The way it can be made special is Tiffany & Co. can engrave anything you want on the inside. It could be the kids initials or birthday, basically anything you want.

Get this simple yet iconic ring at Tiffany & Co. Ring. .

Moving onto some ideas that aren’t on my wishlist but, are still nice to get.

A simple little painting from the kids would be a great gift for the grandmas in their lives. Even if it’s just a hand print it will be cherished.

One can always appreciate a beautiful bouquet of flowers. A GOOD breakfast in bed. A nice dinner with the family. These last one not one penny needs to be spent and they are letting mom sleep in, and when I say sleep in , I mean take the kids out of the house. I don’t know about other moms but, I know even if I want to sleep in I’m always listening on what’s going on in the living room. So, take the kids out of the house. Maybe do the dishes. Put in a load of laundry and put it away. These little things would mean the world to a mom. Am I right, mamas?

Well, I hope all you mamas have a great Mother’s Day!

Happy Birthday To My Love!

Hello beautifuls!!! Today’s post is dedicated to my ride or die, my best friend, the love of my life; My Husband! We have been celebrating his birthday all weekend long leading up to his birthday today.

He turned 25 and now he’s as old as me, until I turn 26 in a few months and feel like an old fart all over again. We started of the celebration with going to buy his big gift. I’ve never seen him so gunho about anything our entire marriage. This man is super hard to shop for, he deserves the world but, rather have a sticker type man. So, this year he wanted a kayak and I was so excited I finally had a great gift to get him. Friday night I sorta tricked him into coming to the store with me to get his gift. I’m a tiny person there was no way I would be able to carry and put a kayak on the car. He had no idea he was getting a kayak that day. Let’s just say he was like a little kid that saw a mountain of presents under the tree on Christmas morning. His excitement made me sooo happy.

After, dropping of the kayak, we had to go get him and Jason some life vest but, not any kind of vest, a fisherman vest. Haha. That’s right, my man now is a fisherman or he wants to be. What kind of wife would I be to kill a mans dreams. Hahaha.

Moving onto Saturday morning, I took him to get a pedicure, we use to get them all the time in the states and it has been a while for him. He now says he’s sliding in his boots. After, the pedi, we headed to this restaurant my nail lady recommended. It was a 50s diner and had pretty good American food. Headed to the restaurant and it was the cutest place I’ve been in Japan, restaurant wise. They Marilyn Monroe and Elvis everywhere, a jukebox, and all things 50s. Besides, the amazing 50s aesthetics, the food was delicious. I didn’t even take a picture of how good it was. But, I did take a picture of our yummy dessert. When we were done with our parfait, we headed out to the backyard where they had some tables, a swing, and a pond with koi fish. It was so beautiful and we are definitely going back.

On Sunday we took the kayak for a swim in the lakes of Japan. I stayed on short, due my fear of open waters but, that’s a story for a different time. Both my babies were ready for some kayak fun. They had in their life vests and were off. I thought my toddler would be overboard in a matter of seconds but surprisingly he actually stayed calm and enjoyed the ride. I may have lost my husband for the majority of the weekend but, it’s totally worth it. The happiness on his face was everything.

Monday was a work day so, we didn’t do much. We were pretty tired from our exciting weekend.

Tuesday was his birthday, so after work Jason gave him presents, he got daddy some under armor running shorts and a champion sweatshirt. We then went to dinner at chili’s and stuffed our faces and Jason stole his birthday dessert.

It was an amazing birthday filled with fun and some spoiling. Is there any other way to celebrate a birthday?

Happy Birthday My Love!

Happy Easter!

Hello Beautifuls! Easter is this Sunday, and making my baby boy his Easter basket is so much fun to make. Honestly, I may go a little bit over board but, oh well it is what it is. I am that extra. Not only do I go overboard but , so do my parents. They go overboard for everything, now you know where I get it from. Haha.

I’ll be showing you what I got my little squishy for Easter. As well, as what my parents got him.

He already has a personalized Easter basket. So, for his basket I got him a personalized 8 in. egg. Inside I put some goodies, I got him and my friends daughter custom matching shirts for our vacation this summer to Okinawa. Followed by a truck and a Reese’s bunny. Besides, the big egg, I’ll be putting some eggs filled with gummy jelly beans, some chocolates, two big bubble bath bombs, and $5 in one dollar bills. We will also be doing our own little Easter egg hunt.

Moving onto what my parents got him. So, first off the stuff can’t even fit in his other baskets, that’s how much stuff they send him. They kept it Disney Cars theme, his favorite. They sent him a bunch of the mini racers, a racetrack, Cars eggs, Cars shirt, cool light up lightening McQueen sneakers, and finally some candy. I told y’all they go big.

I also send a little Easter box to my bestie & her daughter. I got them both personalized eggs. In my friends egg I put a bunch in KitKats, some press on nails, and glittery earrings that match the hair bow I put in her daughters egg. For my sweet Perri I sent her some cute sandals and inside her egg was some KitKats, her matching bow, and custom shirt.

Do y’all go big or small for Easter? As y’all can see we go big. Haha

I hope you all have a blessed Easter!

March Favorites!

Hello beautifuls! I can’t believe I’m telling y’all about my March Favorites already, time is sure flying by. I honestly don’t mind time flying by, cause the faster the months go, the faster I can go back home.

My first favorite is obviously my girls trip with my nugz. It was so much fun and it was a very much needed mini vacation. Full of cute outfits, shopping, and amazing places, I think I’m going to need a girls trip a lot more often.

On that trip I bought the cutest charm ever! I’ve been wearing my bracelet ever since I put the charm on it. I’m obsessed!

Moving on to the my next fav this month, is this new band and cover I got for my Apple Watch. Bought both things for $14 at target.

It wouldn’t be my monthly favorites if there wasn’t a little bit of makeup in the mix. The first product is a repurchase, I’ve had the Too Faced foundation before but, I took a break from it for a while. I have fallen in love with it again. Next, is a new item and probably my favorite thing to use in my makeup routine. This Too Faced Primer Powder, it’s like pure magic in a bottle. It smooths my face and makes my makeup look flawless. This is something I will purchase always. I don’t know what I was doing without this. Last item is a red Anastasia Beverly Hill liquid lipstick. I’m pretty obsessed with reds recently, I feel like a hot mama with a red lip. It’s never a bad thing to feel good.

In my Luxury haul I posted last month I talked about my Chanel Megan Hess book, it’s the perfect coffee table book so, I couldn’t help myself to buy another. The addition is the New York fashion illustration book. It has amazing illustrations, she is truly talented. I will for sure be buying more of these beautiful books.

Finally, my forever favorite candle from bath and body works was sent by my mom. The packaging is pink and it smells amazing. It couldn’t be anymore perfect. If you ever waltz into the store I high suggest you take a sniff at this yummy candle.

Osaka Trip & Haul.

Hello Beautifuls! I am back from a very much needed girls trip! It was super fun but, very exhausting at the same time. We were nonstop walking and having a blast. I couldn’t think of anyone else to have shared this experience with than my Nugz. We are literally the same person!

On our first night in Osaka, we hit the town and walked the famous street of Dotonbori. This street is filled with food vendors and good shopping. What more could we ask for, right? It was a great experience, all the lights and people just gave me an amazing feeling. I just couldn’t believe I was out here on this once in a life time trip.

I bought some goodies and of course Japan is home of my favorite kitty, Hello Kitty! So, most of my goodies are Hello Kitty. Haha. I have no regrets!!! I bought this Osaka Hello Kitty shirt and coin purse at one of the many stores they had in Dotonbori. My 8 year old self was super happy. The mug and cute Japanese stickers I bought in a Starbucks mixed with a bookstore. Since, I have a fluffy Akita, I bought two Akita stickers and a camera sticker. I bought my squishy a booklet of Cars stickers with Japanese writing. Yes, I do have stickers everywhere now. The last thing I bought in Dotonbori was something I could not pass up and was surprised to even have found a Pandora here in Japan. Look how darn cute this Japanese doll is. I couldn’t pass this charm up. It’s the perfect addition to my bracelet and to remember the memories I have in Japan.

On our second day, we headed to the Kobe Herb Garden. We rode on a trolley to the top of the mountain, it was a beautiful view of the city and water. It was a bit cooler out so not all the flowers were blooming but, we found a cute little spot to get a few pictures.

The little souvenirs I got from the garden was a little tea/coffee spoon and two postcards that I will be framing and putting up in my glam room. I also bought my nugz & I matching bracelets.

The third day was the best day ever! Universal Studios Japan was so much fun and I still couldn’t believe I went there. It’s definitely a lot different than the Universal Studios in Orlando. The biggest difference is every ride is in Japanese so, we didn’t understand anything. But, it was so much fun. I visited the Wizard World and let me tell you I am not a fan of this world. Maybe, if I didn’t walk into being hangry, it could’ve been different. Since, I walked in hangry and not knowing the food would be so on theme, I was kinda annoyed when I had to $20 for food that I didn’t like and on top of overpaying for food I didn’t like they wanted to go and charge me twice! Long story short, I wasn’t happy but, once I got food in me I was a lot happier! The rest of the day was a blast!

I couldn’t go to Universal Studios Japan and not get some goodies. Once again, Hello Kitty is in the mix. I got me a shirt and a pencil. For one of my friends that’s pretty obsessed with the wizard world I got her a key holder. Lastly, I got my squishy the cute teddy bear from despicable me and now it’s his favorite thing and he calls it his baby. So cute!!!

By the day we were heading back home, we were about done. So, we just took it slow and went to the biggest Ferris wheel ever! It was a tad bit windy and it scared the crap out of us when we were so high up.

We then went to the train and got ready to head home. We grabbed some goodies from the station such as KRISPY KREME DONUTS! It’s in capital letters because it’s been a long while since I’ve had a good donut and I think it’s about the only Krispy Kreme in Japan.
