Valentines Day Outfits.

Hello Beautifuls! Valentine’s Day is 6 days away, I know romance shouldn’t only be one day but, it’s nice to have a reason to get dolled up and go out. So, today I’m giving y’all some ideas on outfits you can wear for this special romantic day. I will probably be celebrating Cupid’s day with my amazing husband before or after the day. Places will be extremely busy this day and being as we are in a foreign country and we aren’t very adventurous with food, I’m pretty sure the places we like will be packed. So, let’s get into some of these outfit that if you check my last post on makeup looks you will see which makeup look goes with the outfit.

This outfit is for a more chill and relaxed date. Probably the outfit that I will be wearing since I have to be running after a toddler, who has the quickest little feet ever! Even though, you gotta be able to chase a toddler doesn’t mean you can’t get all cute and dolled up. Here I’m wearing my favorite pair of jeans I bought at the MCX and my favorite bodysuit, also from the MCX. It’s a little chilly here in Japan. So, I topped it off with this pure cardigan from Forever 21 and my grey Ugg’s. Warm and cute.

Next outfit is probably one of my faves. Sweater and skirt are from H&M and can still be found online, btw. The knee high boots are from Target. This is super girly and still quite warm and somewhat comfortable to be able to be able to chase a toddler. This is a very Blair Waldorf inspired look and I’m here for it.

The last look is very sexy and boobalicious. This is absolutely not a toddler chasing approved outfit. But, dang I was feeling myself in this outfit. You can’t go wrong with a little black dress. The dress is from Kenneth Cole and the Cardigan is from a store here in Japan called GU. Completed the look with some heels I got from target and some pearls. So here is my glam bam sexy look.

So, there are my three Valentines Day outfit ideas. Which one was your favorite?

Favorite Fall Outfits.

Hello beautifuls! Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. We had a not so traditional Thanksgivings here in Japan. We were feeling a little down this year, it’s not easy being away from family around the holidays and I think this year it really hit us hard. We only have a year and a half left and it can’t come fast enough. So, for our Thanksgiving we went to Hiroshima and did a little shopping and ate out at a restaurant we’ve gone once before. It wasn’t the traditional thing to do, either way we had a good time and all that mattered was that we were together.

Now, that thanksgiving is over, we are fast approaching my favorite holiday of all, Christmas! In my home Christmas arrived the day after Halloween, meaning my decorations have been up since the first of November. There are still some thing I’m waiting for to come in and once they come in I’ll be doing a post on decorating for Christmas. Since, fall is over, well for me any. Haha. I wanted to show y’all some of my favorite fall outfits.

At the beginning of this year one of my goals was to step up my wardrobe and somewhat step out of my comfort zone. So, far I’ve been happy with my wardrobe, I can only hope that it will get better! Let’s get onto the outfits, shall we.

The first outfit is a purple tunic from forever21 with my Lily Pulitzer cardigan paired with basic black leggings and burgundy booties. Simple, yet cute.

Next outfit is one of my more comfortable outfits and a matching one with my squishy face. It was cute and comfy for our trip to the zoo. My rust color jacket is from target and wore some burgundy pants from the MCX and of course, what is comfort without uggs?

The following outfit is probably one of my favorite ones, ever! I have been seeing the animal print trend going around and I was scared on trying it but, I took the jump and went for it. No regrets! I absolutely love this look. All the pieces besides the top are from target, including my heels.

My last look was my thanksgiving outfit. Besides the previous look this one is also one of favs. Again, my coat is from target, the sweater is from a Japanese store called GU, the skirt is from forever21 and my booties from the MCX.

That’s all for my favorite fall looks. See y’all soon on my next blog!

Favorite Summer Outfits.

Hello beautifuls! It’s hump day y’all, another week is almost gone and in just a few days the month will be gone. Speaking about months flying by, my favorite season, fall is almost upon us. For some people fall starts September 23rd, but for me it start August 31st. I like having my home decorated the first day of September.

Since, the summer is coming to an end for me, I just wanted to share some of my favorite summer outfits. I was very fortunate to have been in the sunshine state for most of my summer. For some reason I get inspired to step up my style when I’m in Florida, it can be the beautiful style the people have there and the people places that inspire me.

My first outfit is a romper/dress from American Eagle. It’s such a cute and summery piece. Not many rompers look cute, but this totally takes the cake. On top of it being super cute, it’s totally practical for being a mom chasing after a toddler.

Now, this outfit makes me really happy. I mean how can I not be happy when I’m wearing rose gold Minnie Mouse ears. My shirt is from a Japanese store called uniqlo, which is now in the states and it made me smile to see a similar store and the shorts are from aerie. Paired my cute ears and outfit with some Jack Rogers sandals.

On to my chilling on the hammock outfit. Besides the cardigan and the jacks, this outfit came from the MCX, the store on base. This outfit was comfortable and chic. I had to be comfortable for a little shopping spree I had with my best friend and at the same time not die of a heat stroke.

This is a little more of a risky outfit but I love it. The outfit is from aerie, when I was trying these pieces on at the store I thought it would look ugly, but I felt great and felt confident.

The white dress with flowers and the mustard polka dot dress are both from my favorite store, Target! I’m excited to transition the polka dot dress into fall and pair it with some booties.

The last dress I bought for less than a dollar, how you may ask? Well, I found this gem at the thrift store I work at. This was brand new with tags and it was a piece I couldn’t pass up. It’s not something I would have ever thought of wearing but, I’m trying to step up my wardrobe and this screamed summer.

I hope you all liked my outfits, which one is y’alls favorite?

Set Goals & Crush them!

Hello Beautifuls! I am writing on here today to talk about goals. I know we are in the second week of January, but it’s never to late to set some goals. It does not matter if you want to set them in the middle of the year, month, or week. Goals are goals. Set them whenever you feel like you want to. This is the first year I have ever made a “dream/goals board”. I wanted to visualize my goals and dreams and put out good vibes out in the world. I pray everyday and declare my goals will come true in the name of Jesus Christ. Staying positive, keeping faith, and never giving up are key in making your goals happen. The two main goals I have set for this year are to travel with my little family and reach 500 followers on my blog. The other goals are to revamp my style and wardrobe, start a healthier lifestyle, and going back home to visit my family and friends. I am very excited for this year. This is going to be our year! I hope you all accomplish all your goals this year. XOXO.

Christmas, School Break, Self love

Keep Calm, Christmas Break is Here.

Today was the last day of my fall semester, And I could not be any happier. I passed both my classes with high B’s. I have not been in school for about two years. I attended college before and I could have finished my associates degree by now, but my life took a different route. It took the route of getting married and starting a beautiful family and would not have wanted it any other way. I would eventually like to attend school for nursing. Being in Japan makes it a little difficult to do any nursing programs. So, for now, I am just accumulating credits instead of doing nothing for three years. I will eventually finish school and walk across the stage. It does not matter how long it takes to get there, as long as I get there.

Going back to college after two years was tough. I doubted myself so much. The first week of the semester I had a breakdown. I started to cry because stress and feeling like a failure. I was so overwhelmed with being a mom, a wife, and a student. I felt like my son was not getting the attention he wanted and needed. I felt like my house was turned upside down. Getting a thirty-minute workout, a day was a miracle, if I was able to do so that day. My amazing husband was my greatest support system. He encouraged me every day and helped me with my stress. I would not have been able to get through it if it was not for my husband. Eventually, I was able to manage everything that was thrown my way. I do not know how all you beautiful mama’s who work, go to school and have a baby keep yourself sane. You all are amazing. For any mama’s who are in school or are starting school and feel like you can not handle it, do not let it get you down. It will all eventually come together and it you will start to kick butt! It all takes time, if you are feeling overwhelmed just take a step back, breathe. Remember you are all that and a bag of chips and you can do whatever you set your mind to. There is nothing wrong with taking a break from school if it comes really overwhelming. Like I said before, it does not matter how long it takes to get there, as long as you get there.

Confidence, Love, Self love

Be~YOU~tiful

Society has made it impossible to love one self. It does not matter who you are, if you are skinny or fat, a stay at home mom or a working mom, society will always find a way to make you feel down about yourself. After having my baby back in June 2016, I have been very insecure of my body. I have always been a petite girl. During my pregnancy, I gained thirty pounds and have yet been to lose my baby weight. For the longest time I was not happy with who I saw in the mirror. Even before my pregnancy I felt that I was not pretty or skinny enough. Now, I look back at my old pictures and say to myself,” Wow! Girl you were so skinny.” I would always find something wrong with me. I was so insecure with myself, I would only post selfies. It was not until a few months ago, that I started posting full body pictures. I realized that I am beautiful and I have to love myself regardless. I have to remember that my body is a beautiful thing, it carried a little human for nine months. No matter what size we are, we are all beautiful in our own way. If you having a hard time with your weight and are not confident, just keep in mind that you are beautiful and you are more than a dress size. If you are happy in your own skin, do not let anyone tell you otherwise. You can do anything and be anything. I hope you can realize how special you are in time. Be you and be proud.
