Sakura Haul.

Hello Beautifuls! As, the cherry blossom begin to fall and the Sakura season comes to an end here in Japan, I’m kind of saddened by the thought that this will be my last Sakura season. As, our time here in Japan is almost coming to an end, I thought instead of being sad, why not share some cute pictures and all things Sakura.

My husband was sweet enough to hype me up and take some really cute cherry blossom pictures. I couldn’t stop laughing and telling him to stop. He really got into the photographer mode, it was freaking adorable. Take a look at these cute pictures my hubby took.

(My entire outfit, including heels are from Target.)

Besides the beautiful flowers that bloom, there are also seasonal Sakura drinks, one of my favorite ones I’ve had, has to be the prettiest and yummiest one yet! It’s from my favorite smoothie place near our house. It’s so aesthetically pleasing, I had a hard time drinking it.

Moving on to some goodies I bought at Daiso (Japanese dollar store on crack) haha, Starbucks, and MAC.

This place is seriously dangerous, it’s a good thing they don’t take cards or I’d be in serious trouble with the hubs. Just take a look at these cute things, you’ll see why it’s so hard to control myself and it’s all a dollar! They are the best at having cute stationary, so I couldn’t pass up some washi tape and stickers. The flower and dog are iron on patches for a dollar! Last thing is fake cherry blossoms, I used to make an arrangement.

If you ask my husband he’ll tell you have a mug/ tumbler hoarding problem, and he’s not wrong. So, knowing that and seeing this tumbler y’all can see it was a no brainer why I bought it. It’s pink, has cherry blossoms, and glitter. It can’t get any better than that.

Last two items I bought from MAC Cosmetics, it’s part of there Boom Boom Bloom collection. It is still available if you want to get some things from this beautiful collection. I had to have some self control so I just purchase two things. I really wanted the eye shadow pallet but, I have enough pallets so, it would’ve been wasteful. So, being the responsible makeup addict that I am, I just got a setting spray and a lipstick in the color Hi- Fructease Look how gorgeous the packaging is. Love!

Hope you enjoyed all things sakura and this little haul!

March Favorites!

Hello beautifuls! I can’t believe I’m telling y’all about my March Favorites already, time is sure flying by. I honestly don’t mind time flying by, cause the faster the months go, the faster I can go back home.

My first favorite is obviously my girls trip with my nugz. It was so much fun and it was a very much needed mini vacation. Full of cute outfits, shopping, and amazing places, I think I’m going to need a girls trip a lot more often.

On that trip I bought the cutest charm ever! I’ve been wearing my bracelet ever since I put the charm on it. I’m obsessed!

Moving on to the my next fav this month, is this new band and cover I got for my Apple Watch. Bought both things for $14 at target.

It wouldn’t be my monthly favorites if there wasn’t a little bit of makeup in the mix. The first product is a repurchase, I’ve had the Too Faced foundation before but, I took a break from it for a while. I have fallen in love with it again. Next, is a new item and probably my favorite thing to use in my makeup routine. This Too Faced Primer Powder, it’s like pure magic in a bottle. It smooths my face and makes my makeup look flawless. This is something I will purchase always. I don’t know what I was doing without this. Last item is a red Anastasia Beverly Hill liquid lipstick. I’m pretty obsessed with reds recently, I feel like a hot mama with a red lip. It’s never a bad thing to feel good.

In my Luxury haul I posted last month I talked about my Chanel Megan Hess book, it’s the perfect coffee table book so, I couldn’t help myself to buy another. The addition is the New York fashion illustration book. It has amazing illustrations, she is truly talented. I will for sure be buying more of these beautiful books.

Finally, my forever favorite candle from bath and body works was sent by my mom. The packaging is pink and it smells amazing. It couldn’t be anymore perfect. If you ever waltz into the store I high suggest you take a sniff at this yummy candle.

February Favorites!

Hello Beautifuls! Happy Monday! Hope y’all start off your Monday’s off great! I know I’m a bit late on posting my February favorites but, I have been a bit busy. So, better late than never, right?!

Let’s get into the fun stuff! The first thing I want to talk about is a new hobby I’ve picked up and that new hobby is crocheting. This little hobby started because my husband volunteers at the USO and they give volunteer hours if you crotchet a baby blanket. So, we now we sit on the couch and crotchet. It’s my favorite thing to do, I love it so much that I wanted to make more than blankets. I started YouTubing some videos on crocheting different things and as you can see I went with it and starting making cup cozy’s and hair bows. It’s the most relaxing thing to do.

Moving onto some beauty products. This month I don’t have a lot of new makeup besides these two products. The first beauty item is this Maybelline setting powder. I have been on the hunt for a cheaper setting powder than my Chanel powder to use for an everyday look. This powder is amazing. It’s blend into the skin beautifully, couldn’t ask for a better powder for the price.

Second product is more on the high end side. I LOVE & can’t live without highlight. It’s about the most important part of my makeup routine ever. This Charlotte Tilbury highlight pallet gives me the most amazing glow and a little goes a long way. It’s just amazing. Period!

My following favorite is this pink ottoman I got for target for my beauty room. It was something I’ve been looking into buying for awhile. It’s not as big as I would have wanted but, first, I live in Japan and it’s hard to get big stuff shipped to me and second, it’s the perfect size for my room I have now. It just ties up the room and gives it a little bit more of a dimension.

Finally, I saved the best for last. This right here is a little beautiful pouch my sweet late grandmother gave me before she passed and it’s something I cherish so much. The reason it’s being mentioned now is because I just found it. Since moving to Japan and not having a lot of space for things we left some things in the storage room. Since, seeing tidying up with Marie Kondo we decided to get rid of things and live a little bit more organized. So while cleaning the storage I found my little pouch and cried tears of joy. This little pouch is now in my bag inside another bag(so it doesn’t get damaged) and will be changed into every bag I use. This way I always have a little piece of my sweet abuelita.

Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed my February favorites! Till next time!!!

Favorite Fall Outfits.

Hello beautifuls! Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. We had a not so traditional Thanksgivings here in Japan. We were feeling a little down this year, it’s not easy being away from family around the holidays and I think this year it really hit us hard. We only have a year and a half left and it can’t come fast enough. So, for our Thanksgiving we went to Hiroshima and did a little shopping and ate out at a restaurant we’ve gone once before. It wasn’t the traditional thing to do, either way we had a good time and all that mattered was that we were together.

Now, that thanksgiving is over, we are fast approaching my favorite holiday of all, Christmas! In my home Christmas arrived the day after Halloween, meaning my decorations have been up since the first of November. There are still some thing I’m waiting for to come in and once they come in I’ll be doing a post on decorating for Christmas. Since, fall is over, well for me any. Haha. I wanted to show y’all some of my favorite fall outfits.

At the beginning of this year one of my goals was to step up my wardrobe and somewhat step out of my comfort zone. So, far I’ve been happy with my wardrobe, I can only hope that it will get better! Let’s get onto the outfits, shall we.

The first outfit is a purple tunic from forever21 with my Lily Pulitzer cardigan paired with basic black leggings and burgundy booties. Simple, yet cute.

Next outfit is one of my more comfortable outfits and a matching one with my squishy face. It was cute and comfy for our trip to the zoo. My rust color jacket is from target and wore some burgundy pants from the MCX and of course, what is comfort without uggs?

The following outfit is probably one of my favorite ones, ever! I have been seeing the animal print trend going around and I was scared on trying it but, I took the jump and went for it. No regrets! I absolutely love this look. All the pieces besides the top are from target, including my heels.

My last look was my thanksgiving outfit. Besides the previous look this one is also one of favs. Again, my coat is from target, the sweater is from a Japanese store called GU, the skirt is from forever21 and my booties from the MCX.

That’s all for my favorite fall looks. See y’all soon on my next blog!

August/September Favorites.

Hello beautifuls! Today I will be talking about my August favorites, I know it’s already the middle of September, but ya girl has been a bit busy. Let me fill y’all in on what is happening in my beautiful life as a wife, mommy, employee, and student, again. Yes, I have started school again, I took a break last semester and now I’m back to torturing myself. I keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end. Unlike, last semester I was doing my general studies and getting all my prerequisite credits done, but, this time I will be doing a program that gives me a little more of an understanding of the field I will hopefully be in once I am done with all my general studies. It also gives me a certification that can help me find a job when we go back to then states. So far, it has been easy, but I’m sure it will get harder the more I get into my program. On top of getting school work done, I have been making my squishy face a big boy room. I’ve been doing some DIY decor for his room, I will do a post about it and show you how cute it turned out, I’m really happy how it turned out. Now, lets get onto the goodies.

My first favorite is a new fragrance I picked up, it is a different scent from my Chanel Chance. A few months ago Tiffany an Co. came out with a perfume and I have been dying to get my hands on it and I’m so happy I finally did. It is a fresh and light sort of scent. It smells amazing and the packaging is beautiful.

These next two favorites are my recent makeup favorites. I know, only two makeup item, who am I? When I was back home in the states I was trying to find a new foundation, for a while I was using the BECCA and Too Faced foundations. After, going to Sephora a thousand times and getting samples of all the good foundations, I finally found a good one. If you’re in the market for new foundation I highly suggest trying out NARS foundation, a little goes a long way and it is full coverage. It applies amazing and it doesn’t make me look caked and above all else, it is the perfect color match. The one struggle I had with all the other foundations were some had pink undertones or too much of a yellow undertone, I have more of a natural undertone. The last makeup favorite is the famous Jaclyn Hill Palette. It is a beautiful palette, it has all the colors you need to create different eye looks in just one palette. This being the reason why I haven’t been reaching for my other eyeshadows as much.

Moving onto some jewelry, a girl can never have to much jewelry. The first piece are rose gold earrings for Henri Bendel, they are so cute and comfortable, and the best part is I got them on SALE. Actually, the next two pieces I got on sale as well. These pieces are from Ted Baker, their pieces are totally my esthetics. How beautiful are these matching bracelet and earrings, both are rose gold with a light pink enamel.

And last, but surely not least is my Louis Vuitton Speedy 30. I bought this a couple months back and it was preloved. The handles and trimming were in bad shape, so for our anniversary my amazing husband sent off my bag to get new leather and handles. It takes a while for Louis Vuitton to get the leather fixed so, by the time I got back from the states my bag was ready. Now, it looks like a brand new bag. I love it so much, it’s absolutely beautiful. The best part is even with fixing the leather and such I still paid half of what I would have paid for a brand new one. Isn’t gorgeous?

That’s the last of my August/September favorites. Sorry I have been absent for a while but, I will hopefully get it together.

April Favorite’s.

img_7497

Hello My Beautifuls! It’s crazy how the month of April is already gone! I feel like I just posted my March favorites. Do you think these months are flying by? I guess it is a good thing for me, I’m so close to going back home and spending time with my family and friends. I’m so excited, I have already started packing! But, now on to my April favorites, there isn’t a lot, but I just had to share these awesome items.

Since I have gotten my Louis Vuitton key holder, I can’t ever go back to a key chain. It has really changed my life. Well, it’s mainly changed the fact that I’m no longer running around the house like a mad women looking for my keys. Now, that I have found my new obsession, I couldn’t pass up on this key holder. This is a 6 ring key holder from Coach and collaboration with Disney! This couldn’t be a better collab. It’s big enough that I can put my I.D and credit cards when I need to go out for a quick errand and most importantly is has Mickey Mouse on it. So freaking cute! I could only find it on eBay, so if you’re interested in getting one of these just go on to eBay.

Now, this is something that I have been wanting for the longest time. It being the Louis Vuitton Pochette Accessoires. I was able to find this for a steal at one of the many preloved stores here in Japan. It was the same store I bought my LV key holder. I was extra excited to find this one because it is different from the ones in store now, so in some way it is a vintage piece. It was in such great condition and I got it for $100! I wanted to make a cross-body so I bought a non-brand leather strap, and I AM OBSESSED! This little baby is coming with me to my trip to Florida for sure. I mean look how gorgeous it is!

I have talked about this item on my last postĀ Florida Packing List. This was a gift from the best Easter bunny ever, it came with some chocolates, but those are long gone. I love to take pictures, I love looking back at them and remembering that memory and smiling. I grew up with a camera in my face and my uncle recording everything. So, I can’t help to do the same. I love the HP Sprocket printer, it prints my pictures instantly and unlike my Fujifilm camera, I can choose what picture I want to print and not risk the chance of wasting film. On top of being able to print my pictures instantly, the paper is a sticker! I can put these pictures anywhere. And believe me they are everywhere, they are mostly of my cute toddler. I highly recommend this little gadget.

My last item for my April favorites are these two mugs from the You Are Here Starbucks collection, my amazing husband so kindly picked up for me when he was at a training in Hawaii. The smaller mug he picked up at a Starbucks in the airport in Fukuoka in Japan. The Hawaii mug has to be by far my favorite mug I own. It is the cutest mug ever, the colors are everything and the little drawing on the mug make me want to go to Hawaii so bad. I seriously have the best hubby ever!

Favorite TV Shows.

Hello my Beautifuls! I hope you all are doing fantastic! We are half way done with the week! Yasss! Well, for me my work week just started. Have I mentioned I absolutely love my job. If I didn’t, know you now. The only reason I look forward to the actual weekend is to spend time with my handsome hubby and to get a little break from changing a few diapers.

Having such a long weekend and being on a break from school means I have some extra time to watch my favorite shows, obviously when I’m not watching Moana or Coco for the thousandth time. But, when my little squishy goes to down a for a nap I have an hour to two hours of having the tv to myself. It’s awesome. I’ve obviously watched gossip girl about a million times, but I mean it’s gossip girl! Who can get tired of seeing Blair and Chucks become relationship goals. Since I have watching gossip girl so many times I thought it was time to branch out and find new shows. My guilty pleasure are reality shows, this being said my all time favs are Housewives of Beverly Hills and Keeping up with the Kardashian’s. I can get sucked into these shows so fast it’s crazy.

Besides reality shows, I have a deep love for crime shows such as criminal minds and CSI: Miami. At this moment, my husband and I are binge watching NCIS in Netflix. It’s about the only show we both like and can watch together. Unlike criminal minds and CSI, NCIS solves crimes within the navy and marine corps. It is insane, this show has me really roped in. If y’all are into crime shows. I highly recommend this show.

And lastly my recent favorite show called American Housewife. Y’all this is the most funniest and realistic view into being mother. If y’all want a good laugh and are tired of seeing all these perfect mommy’s, this is the show for you. It is okay to be an okay mom sometimes. We have bad days. We can’t always be perfect and have the perfect life. I’m so happy that they have a show that presents a family that is normal and is proud of not being a stick figure mom who looks good in white jeans. (She makes fun of moms that wear white jeans in the show.) I highly recommend this show as well. You can watch all the episodes on Hulu.
