Okinawa Trip.

Hello Beautifuls! We got back from our family vacation a few days ago. It was an amazing trip, we got to celebrate Jason’s 3rd birthday our there, but we were ready to be home! Mainly because I fly out to Florida Wednesday so, I wanted a few days to rest before I had to tackle the airport with a toddler again, BY MYSELF. The struggle is all worth it though when I see my crazy family and I’ll have round o’clock babysitters so, I’ll get to rest. Lol. Back to our Okinawa trip, we had a blast and just so happy to see our besties again. Jason and Perri were inseparable and troublemakers for sure but, put two toddlers in the same house and what do you expect. Especially only child toddlers.

We went on a few adventures while we were there, we also stayed in and relaxed because well, it’s a vacation. No need to run ourselves ragged. Also, doing things with toddlers is already an adventure it’s self.

On our first adventure in Okinawa was this park called pineapple park. Yes, it’s a park about pineapples. We stumbled upon it looking a for a park with dinosaurs but, we couldn’t find it. Luckily, this place had a little dinosaur exhibit. Jason and Perri are into dinosaurs so it was a hit with the kids and it was a really cool experience for Jason. We thought it would scare him and we would never have to see Jurassic park movie again. We were wrong. It was an interesting park to say the least.

We ate at a cute little place called Calin. We ate taco rice casserole and had some yummy French toast and parfait for dessert. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture, my toddler dug right in.

Following this fun adventure, we did something a little bit more cultured. We visited the Shuri Castle, they even had a little stamp map and at the end of the course of we got all the stamps we got a little souvenir. It was a gorgeous castle, the kids sure did enjoy running around and burning off some energy. The locals were also taking pictures with the kids it was quite funny. They were like little celebrities.

The last big adventure we had was for Jason Birthday! He woke up to balloons and gifts. We went to the second biggest aquarium there is. We saw big sting rays, a whale shark, a big ugly fish, and a dolphin show with the most amazing view. Jason was so intrigued by the sharks, they are a favorite as well. I got the kids matching shirts, they looked soo cute. It was a great day and full of fun memories. We then celebrated at home with some cupcakes my bestie was kind enough to make for him. She’s the best! Jason also bought some souvenirs with the money my parents and brother sent him. He was also sweet enough to pick out a pink dolphin for his best friend Perri. It literally melted my heart how giving and thoughtful my squishy is.

The rest of the days were pretty chill and we went to a place called American village and the views were gorgeous! We ate at this amazing burger place and had ice cream at blue seal. It was all so yummy.

I also had to get some souvenirs from this trip. The most important one is my Starbucks mug, I now have 4 Mugs from different places in Japan. I also picked up a magnet, a pin, & a keychain and picture from the pineapple park.

It was a beautiful island and a great experience. I’m absolutely blessed to have been able to go this trip and make memories with my family and friend. Like, y’all can see I wasn’t lying when I said they were inseparable. They held hands and hugged all the time. It’s was so sweet, my heart just melted every time. Now, I have to prepare for my trip to Florida!

Family Summer Vacation.

Hello beautifuls! Hopefully y’alls week is going amazing so far. My week is flying by and I’m absolutely okay with that because, we are going on our summer vacation to Okinawa, Japan this Friday. For those thinking why are you so excited if you live in Japan? Well, there a couple of reasons why I’m super stoked. First reason, we get to celebrate my squishy’s third birthday on a beautiful island. There’s so many things we want to do! Second, our closest friends are stationed there and we can’t wait to see them! Third, like I said before we are going to be on a beautiful island, the beaches are gorgeous and there are views for days! It’s pretty much a Japanese version of Hawaii. Finally, the yummy food! Every time my bestie posts something on Instagram my mouth waters.

We will be there for a week and packing for myself is a hassle on it’s own. I have to plan my outfits and have backup outfits just in case I’m not in the mood for the outfit I had planned. So, add two more people, my toddler and hubby, now it’s a party! Well, packing for my squishy isn’t hard, I choose what I want him to wear but, I also have to plan what goes with what and have back ups, you just in case. The hubby I guess isn’t hard either but, at the same it is because, what I would like him to wear, he won’t wear and so I’m making sure I’m packing enough shorts and T-shirt’s that look presentable and will keep him comfy. Making sure we have enough drawers for the week and packing what shoes goes with what time 3. Oh lawd! We leave Friday and I’m starting today. I’m usually packing days in advance but, I figured it’s only a week it won’t be that hectic. I was wrong.

Besides, having clothes all spread out on my floor, I wanted to share some new things I bought for this trip. I’m going to start with some outfits, I’m only going to show the outfits I’m really excited to wear on this trip and I really don’t have the time to share all the outfits.

The first one is this super cute pink and white polka dotted jumpsuit I bought from target. I will be pairing it with my favorite strapped heels also from target.

The second outfit is a cute red and flower dress from target. I thought would be perfect for the island. I’m pairing it with my blush heels as well.

Lastly, is my favorite black high waisted jeans with a Gilmore girls shirt. I bought my a bestie a matching one and since we are planning on hitting up as many coffee shops as possible, it was only fitting to wear a Gilmore girls shirt! Both are from target.

Moving on to these last two items I bought for this trip and for my trip to the states I have coming up this month as well. One being a jewelry travel case, I bought this on amazon for $10 and it’s amazing. It’s thin enough to fit in my carry on or handbag. It has great compartments for necklaces, earrings, & rings. I won’t have to worry about my necklaces getting tangled or loosing an earring, it’s all in one place. To make things better it’s pink!

The last thing is a face mask one of the YouTubers I watch Nicole Guerrero recommended. I usually don’t really get into the hype of the all the products influencers rave about but, I decided to give this one a chance. Like I mentioned before I will also be going to Florida this month and that is a looong flight! So, my skin is going to be going through it with all the recycled air from the plane. This face mask is meant to hydrate the face and make your skin look healthy. Let me tell you, it’s amazing and I just used it twice so far. My skin was hydrated and smooth, I will be putting this on while I’m on that 10 hour flight and possibly every time I get on a plane and I have about 3 layovers. Soooo fun!

Looking forward to sharing our trip with y’all soon!!!

Shopping in Japan.

When we were back in the states and my husband would have duty, Target was my favorite place to be. Since moving to Japan, I have been deprived from Target,  I miss strolling the Target aisles, especially the dollar section. Roaming the aisles helped me pass the time so I would not get bored and alone at home. There is only one store on base, the MCX, now do not get me wrong the MCX is great and has great deals but there is not much to see. One of my favorites stores in Japan is this magical dollar store called, Daiso. I call it the dollar store on crack. It kind of puts the dollar store in the states to shame. Obviously, the merchandise they sell is Japanese, but they sell the cutest things; from toilet scrubbers and house goods to cheap Disney things. I love that place, but it still can not replace Target. I think the japanese heard our cry because they opened a store called, Nitori, it is like a japanese Target. Since, my husband dreads coming to stores with me, Jason and I took a little trip to check it out. It was not as good as Target, but it did the trick. They had the cutest christmas decorations and decor. I will definitely be going back to stroll the aisles and pretend it is Target. Although, I do not have a Target or a Hobby Lobby and I have to wait forever and a day for my packages to arrive. Japan has been an amazing, once in a life time experience. Many more new experiences and adventures to come.
