Favorite Summer Outfits.

Hello beautifuls! It’s hump day y’all, another week is almost gone and in just a few days the month will be gone. Speaking about months flying by, my favorite season, fall is almost upon us. For some people fall starts September 23rd, but for me it start August 31st. I like having my home decorated the first day of September.

Since, the summer is coming to an end for me, I just wanted to share some of my favorite summer outfits. I was very fortunate to have been in the sunshine state for most of my summer. For some reason I get inspired to step up my style when I’m in Florida, it can be the beautiful style the people have there and the people places that inspire me.

My first outfit is a romper/dress from American Eagle. It’s such a cute and summery piece. Not many rompers look cute, but this totally takes the cake. On top of it being super cute, it’s totally practical for being a mom chasing after a toddler.

Now, this outfit makes me really happy. I mean how can I not be happy when I’m wearing rose gold Minnie Mouse ears. My shirt is from a Japanese store called uniqlo, which is now in the states and it made me smile to see a similar store and the shorts are from aerie. Paired my cute ears and outfit with some Jack Rogers sandals.

On to my chilling on the hammock outfit. Besides the cardigan and the jacks, this outfit came from the MCX, the store on base. This outfit was comfortable and chic. I had to be comfortable for a little shopping spree I had with my best friend and at the same time not die of a heat stroke.

This is a little more of a risky outfit but I love it. The outfit is from aerie, when I was trying these pieces on at the store I thought it would look ugly, but I felt great and felt confident.

The white dress with flowers and the mustard polka dot dress are both from my favorite store, Target! I’m excited to transition the polka dot dress into fall and pair it with some booties.

The last dress I bought for less than a dollar, how you may ask? Well, I found this gem at the thrift store I work at. This was brand new with tags and it was a piece I couldn’t pass up. It’s not something I would have ever thought of wearing but, I’m trying to step up my wardrobe and this screamed summer.

I hope you all liked my outfits, which one is y’alls favorite?

Luxury Makeup Haul.

Hello, my beautiful people! I hope y’alls week is going great, we are half way done with the week. Woot Woot! Today, I’m coming at y’all with some bougie makeup products I bought when I was back home. I usually don’t splurge on makeup this much, but I couldn’t resist. I had to treat myself. I also treated my mom and and mother in law to a little Chanel lipstick. They are the best, so they deserve it.

Now, let’s get into these awesome products that in my opinion are worth the coins. The first products are the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick and blush. I am in love with the color of this lipstick, it’s the perfect muted brownish nude. I pair it with some gloss and it is stunning. Obsessed! The blush has got to be my go to blush, I haven’t touched any of my other blushes since I’ve gotten this one. You would think it would be a crazy color, but it’s not, it is sheer but buildable. I can’t get enough of it. Thankfully, Nordstrom’s delivers here so, I will be ordering these products again when I run out.

The next luxury products are from the one and only bougie brand, Chanel. I have been wanting to try out some products from this prestigious brand for a while. They sell Chanel here in Japan, but what they don’t sell is my shade. The Japanese women wear minimal makeup and have the most flawless skin. To have flawless skin, they cover up from the sun, so you can already guess what shade they are. So, I took advantage that I was back home to try out some products. There was one flop, which is why it’s not in the haul. That one flop was the foundation. It had too much of a pink undertone and my undertones are more natural. Even though the foundation was a miss, I did get some amazing products such as, the setting powder, foundation powder, bronzer, mascara, and a lipstick.

The only setting powder I would use was the Givenchy prisme setting powder. It was the only setting powder that didn’t give a flashback and didn’t look too powdery. With that being said, this Chanel setting powder has taken the cake. No flashback and it just melts into my skin. It’s amazing and for the size and how much product is has, it’s worth it. The foundation may not have worked out for me but, the foundation powder sure did. I sometimes don’t want to beat my face but, I sure don’t want to look like I just rolled out the bed, in some cases I do go out like that. Haha. So, for the days I don’t want to use foundation, I just use concealer and a powder foundation. This Chanel powder is so soft and buttery and the coverage is beautiful. It smells amazing and so luxurious, I just take a minute and smell it. I know, I’m a little weird.

Chanel has really taken over in my makeup routine, beside the setting powder being the only powder I use to set my face, the bronzer is the only bronzer I use. It doesn’t matter if I’m feeling a full beat face or just a little powder, I always use the Chanel bronzer. It’s the perfect bronzing shade, it’s so creamy for a powder bronzer , and there is no patchiness. It absolutely flawless, and again it smell amazing.

The last two products are the mascara and lipstick. Besides my tarte, lights, camera, lashes mascara, the Chanel mascara is the only mascara that makes my eyelashes look great without making them look clumpy and all spider leg like. Most mascaras I have tried always flake off and make my eye itch, this mascara wears very well for long periods of time. I honestly love all these products and will be repurchasing them again.

I hope you all enjoyed this haul. See y’all soon!

Shopping Is My Favorite Sport.

Hello Beautifuls! I’m back from my much needed vacation. Missing the sunshine state and my family like crazy, but it was time to come back to reality. This mama needs to recover from all the shopping that was done. It’s been a while since I’ve done a monthly favorites due to my constant shopping and well, looking for new things to try. To say I went a little crazy when I was back in the states would be an understatement. But, I don’t get to shop like this here in Japan, so I took full advantage. Also, let’s not leave Jason behind, he sure did some damage too. Haha. That little boy can shop! He learned from the best. So without further ado here are some of my new goodies!

Let’s start with some of the goodies Jason got. Like I said before, the boy knows how to shop and he sure is spoiled. Half of my suitcase was packed with his stuff and his clothes are tiny! This is a small portion of everything he got. I love the store Janie and Jack, they sell the cutest clothes and it’s totally the style I go for when I dress him. Since, he has everyone wrapped around his little cute fingers, he managed to get some Sperry’s out of one of his uncles. He even wore them out of the store like he’s all that.

Look at him strut his stuff!

Now, on to my new purchases. I really enjoyed going to the outlets, that’s where I bought this cute pink coach purse with a matching wallet for a whopping $100 for both things, talk about a good sale.

I don’t know about anyone else but, I love planners and phone cases. So, while visiting Disney Springs, formally known as downtown Disney, I picked up this cute planner for the new year and my new favorite phone case ever! It has Minnie Mouse, it can’t get any better. As, for the Alex and Ani bracelet, my sweet baby brother got me this. Ain’t he the sweetest? The little mermaid and the donut Mickey head are from uniqlo USA, we have a uniqlo here in Japan so, it was pretty cool to see a store I knew back home. And lastly, I was finally able to get my hands on the Walt Disney World rose gold jersey, I have been wanting to buy this from the first day it came out. Y’all I was like a little kid on Christmas Day!

I will be doing a post soon about the new makeup I bought back home, I sure got some good stuff. I hope you all enjoyed. See y’all soon!

Mini Family Vacation.

Hello Beautifuls! How is y’alls summer going so far? Mine as been filled with family love, laughter, shopping, a lot of shopping, and creating great memories. I’ve been in Florida for about two months, I’ll be heading back to Japan Sunday morning. I can’t believe how fast these months have gone by. It’s going to be so sad to say goodbye to my family again for another year and a half. I will miss them very much and I’m sure they are going to miss us, especially Jason. But, we will be back before you know it.

Since, being back in the states I’ve gone to target so many times I have lost count. I’ve been deprived so, I needed my fix, don’t judge. We’ve done a lot of shopping, I think I’m set for a while and so is Jason. I’ll do a separate post on our big shopping hauls. We’ve gone on little vacations such as, going to North Carolina to see the in laws and going on a spontaneous two day beach trip. I was able to find us the cutest resort right on the beach with like a few hours notice, not days, hours! It turned out to be an amazing trip. I couldn’t ask for any better in laws. We’ve just came back from Orlando, it was Jason’s first time at SeaWorld. He loved all the shows, music, and little water parks. He sure came home pooped. I got the chance to really bond with my not so little brothers, we got on all the rides and just had a lot of fun. So much fun that I now have no voice. Since we couldn’t make it to Disney World and I had to get my Disney fix, we headed down to Disney Springs. I was so happy, I was like a little kid in a candy shop. It was magical. On top of these little trips, I’ve been enjoying the Florida sun, I finally have a tan! Jason has enjoyed both of his grandparents pools, he’s like a little fish. I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. I’m so grateful for my amazing husband for making all this possible.

Florida Packing List Part 1.

DSC03792Hello Beautifuls! Oh how I’ve missed y’all! It’s been a strange few weeks for me. I have been feeling very tired and I literally almost died last week. Well, not really, but it sure felt like I was going to. Thank God I’m finally feeling tens times better. I hope you all are doing amazing as well. Now, let’s get to the fun stuff!

I’m beyond and excited to be going back to the states in just a few weeks. The only down side about it is, I will be traveling alone with a TODDLER! I promise I’m not a bad mom, but I will be bringing along some Benadryl, not for me, for Jason. I’m hoping this will make this trip a bit more bearable. I just can’t wait! I’m so ready to see my amazing parents and hang out with my friends. So, get ready for some fun stuff. Y’all this is a 24 hour trip/flight! Since buying our tickets I have been preparing and buying some stuff I will be needing to make this trip as easy as possible and some things I just felt were really cute. Below I’ll be showing somethings I will be packing for our Florida trip.

First things first, we have to travel in style and what better way to spruce up our passports than cute passport covers. Mine is a travel wallet from Ted Baker, I was eyeing this for the longest time and it finally went on sale and I had to get it. It is big enough to hold our boarding passes, passport, and some cards, making it easier to purchase snacks and such. For Jason I got him a little green passport holder, he needs to travel in style too. Lol.

Traveling with a toddler you most definitely need to be hands free. So, it only made sense to  get a backpack. I was able to find this cute Michael Kors backpack at the store on base. It is very spacious, sturdy, and obviously really cute. I had to make sure it would be able to hold some diapers, wipes, snacks, and some other things to keep Jason entertained for the flight.

DSC03799

Now on to some of the things I got to HOPEFULLY keep my toddler entertained. He loves cars, so I bought a pack so I can keep him intrigued with a new car every now and then. I also got him a fire tablet, I thought he was going love it and never let it go, well I was wrong. He could really careless about the thing. He rather play with his cars, which I love, but I’m going to need him to grow attached to it for the sake of my sanity and the flight. But here’s hoping for the best!

DSC03811

Since this is a long flight, I have to make sure my phone and Jason’s tablet are always charged. So, it was important to get a good portable charger. I got this Mophie charger and it is the greatest portable charger ever and it’s pink! And to keep my charger and headphones from getting tangled and keep them organized, I bought these holders to prevent them from getting on my nerves and getting tangled.

Finally, I’m packing my laptop, hp printer, agenda, journal and my devotional. These are pretty important.

I hope you all enjoyed part one of my packing list. I will be posting an outfit and accessories blog in a few days. I will post a few outfits I bought for the trip and what accessories I will be taking along with me for my mini vacation.

Girly Day With Tay.

Hello Beautifuls! Today was a very much-needed girls day. It has been quite a while since I’ve gone out and did a little shopping without a toddler running around or a nagging husband telling me “hurry up”, “why are you taking so long?”. Today we shopped in peace, it was so nice. We stopped for some coffee at Starbucks, did a little shopping at H&M, went to Louis Vuitton for a little treat for the eyes and to reserve a little something I’ve been eyeing for a while, stopped at a little Luxury thrift store, and finished with some lunch. Even though we went to a lot of places, our mission today was Starbucks. Why, you may ask? Because here in Japan, Sakura season is about to start, which is the cherry blossom season. (this honestly is my favorite season).

Starbucks in Japan came out with a Sakura season collection, about the most beautiful collection ever. I don’t know about y’all ,but I love mugs and tumblers, so I had to get my hands on this pretty collection. I mean look how gorgeous and pink everything is. This is totally my type of esthetic.

The next stop was H&M. I just got a couple of things, it’s not like I can fit in a lot of their clothes. H&M already has sizing problems and being in Japan makes it even worse. But, I can still find some cute stuff that I can fit in. The struggle is real! Today, you will see a lot of pink. At H&M I got two shirts, a cardigan, and the cutest beret. Yes, they are in different shades of pink, I did say at the beginning of this year I wanted to add more pink in my wardrobe. The shirt is so comfy, it is supposed to be a shirt dress but my butt and hips do not allow it to be a dress shirt, so I’ll be wearing it with some leggings. The second shirt is flowy and gives me spring vibes, the sleeves are bell sleeves, which adds a little girly and dressy look to it. The cardigan can be used with anything and knowing me it’ll be worn a lot. It is very thin, so it can be worn during the spring without having a heat stroke. Lastly, the blush pink beret, this was something that I was uncertain on buying, but surprisingly was very cute on me.

The last stop was the luxury thrift store. Japan has the best thrift stores ever, especially when it come to finding luxury items. My friend Taylor is the one that opened my eyes to thrifting. I honestly never even stepped foot in a thrift store until I went with Taylor. I know that sounds snobby, but it just wasn’t my thing. Anyways, at this thrift store I got a Louis Vuitton 4 Key holder. I have been wanting this for while, but I always debated on whether I wanted to pay $200 for something my keys were going to scratch and be tossed around. But, I found one that is in great condition for $70! I mean that is a good amount of money being saved that can go towards something else. I was so happy I was able to find this. I know I will not be loosing my keys any more.

We Survived Our First Week.

AE37358D-8014-485E-B64F-065CC7E1BF96Hello Beautifuls! Today is a little update from my last post about starting school, a new job, and Jason going to daycare for the first time. Well, we survived it. I am still a student, I didn’t drop out. HAHA. I have been really good about not procrastinating and waiting until last-minute. But, it’s only been a week. This week hasn’t been a walk in the park either. Since starting school, a new job, and Jason going to daycare, I’ve started to wake up early to wake up early. Like, 6am early! I haven’t woken up this early since high school, so its been tough.

This whole week I’ve been waking up early to work out ( I’ll do a post about my workout routine in the future.) I’m able to clean up the house a bit and have a little time to work on school work before my squishy bear wakes up. But, Oh My Gosh! Those were some tough days. I usually never take a nap, but my eyes were barely staying opened. I eventually got use to it. Waking up early is a great thing. Friday was definitely a crazy day. I was running errands before dropping Jason off at daycare and going into works. And all the momma’s know how hard it is to run errands with a toddler. It makes it double the work, getting a toddler in and out of the car is a sport itself. By 10 am I have so much, I was in dire need of Starbucks. Thank God it was Friday!

My new job is awesome, I love it. It feels so good to be working again. I’m so blessed to always have great co-workers and managers. At every job I’ve had, the managers and co-workers are amazing and friendly. Not many people can say that. I honestly have never had a problem at any of my jobs. I’m so happy to be working with such amazing people and organization.

Jason is loving daycareso far. The first day was the hardest for me. Literally, not even 2.5 seconds went by that I dropped him off and I busted out into tears. I started questioning my parenting, “Was I a bad mom for leaving my baby?”, “Will he be okay?” I was a mess. But, he had a great time. The ladies there love him and say he’s a good boy, which makes me really happy and gives me peace of mind.
