Family Day At The Zoo.

Hello Beautifuls! I hope you guys had a fantastic weekend and have a great Monday. Well, as great as you can make a Monday be so, throw back a cup of good cup of coffee and start your week off strong.

Anyways, my weekend was full of fun and excitement. It has been a while since we had a little adventure in Japan. On Saturday, we went to a sushi go round with some friends, Jason loves some California rolls. In case you don’t know what a sushi go round is, it’s a place where different types of sushi is going around on a belt line and you can pick from the line up. We thought it was going to be super expensive, but to our surprise it was quite affordable for the amount of sushi we ate. It has become a favorite spot for us now, amoung other amazing restuarants we found this weekend. On Sunday, on our way to the zoo we stopped at this Italian place called, Jolly-Pasta, since the hubby was craving some pizza. We ordered a pie of pizza and a plate of pasta to share and after we ordered a slice of apple pie, by far the most yummiest pie I have ever tasted. Everything was absolutely delicious.

Once, we were done stuffing our faces we were ready to walk it off at the zoo. We went to the Hiroshima City Asa Zoological Park, this was the first time Jason has gone to the zoo and boy, was he excited. The animals were quite close, we saw bamboos, rhinos, turtles, lions and the main animal there the Japanese red panda. It was my favorite animal, it was sooo cute! Jason’s favorite animal was the tiger, when he saw it he roared at it and had his little hand like paw. The hubby was excited to see the chimpanzee, he was a little sad that there were no gorillas there. I was so happy that he was having a great time and it made me so much more happier that the hubby was having a blast too.

After, the zoo we were headed home and we starving, we decided to give this little restaurant close to home a chance and I’m so glad we did. It’s called Cusco, a Peruvian restaurant, y’all dont understand how happy I was to have found this place. It had some of my favorite hispanic dishes, I wanted to order the whole menu. I got some fried yuca and beef empanadas for appetizzers and a lomo saltado for dinner. The struggle is real out here without any hispanic food, but this will do for until we go back to the states. We were ready to go home and relax, Jason was so tired that by the time we came home he was looking for jammies and his bed, he was so tired he put himself to sleep.

Mini Family Vacation.

Hello Beautifuls! How is y’alls summer going so far? Mine as been filled with family love, laughter, shopping, a lot of shopping, and creating great memories. I’ve been in Florida for about two months, I’ll be heading back to Japan Sunday morning. I can’t believe how fast these months have gone by. It’s going to be so sad to say goodbye to my family again for another year and a half. I will miss them very much and I’m sure they are going to miss us, especially Jason. But, we will be back before you know it.

Since, being back in the states I’ve gone to target so many times I have lost count. I’ve been deprived so, I needed my fix, don’t judge. We’ve done a lot of shopping, I think I’m set for a while and so is Jason. I’ll do a separate post on our big shopping hauls. We’ve gone on little vacations such as, going to North Carolina to see the in laws and going on a spontaneous two day beach trip. I was able to find us the cutest resort right on the beach with like a few hours notice, not days, hours! It turned out to be an amazing trip. I couldn’t ask for any better in laws. We’ve just came back from Orlando, it was Jason’s first time at SeaWorld. He loved all the shows, music, and little water parks. He sure came home pooped. I got the chance to really bond with my not so little brothers, we got on all the rides and just had a lot of fun. So much fun that I now have no voice. Since we couldn’t make it to Disney World and I had to get my Disney fix, we headed down to Disney Springs. I was so happy, I was like a little kid in a candy shop. It was magical. On top of these little trips, I’ve been enjoying the Florida sun, I finally have a tan! Jason has enjoyed both of his grandparents pools, he’s like a little fish. I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. I’m so grateful for my amazing husband for making all this possible.

Christmas, Love, Marriage, Mommy and Me, Shopping

Family Funday.

Today was a fun day for the Boucha family. We went on a little trip to Hiroshima, it is about an hour away from where we live. We have gone to Hiroshima before, but today we went to this gigantic Japanese mall. I mean it was huge! It was three stories high, they had the cutest shops. I was obsessed. If only I could fit in their clothes. But that did not stop me from doing a little shopping. Most of the shops were having a sale, I could not pass that up. I bought four cute snow globe ornaments. I love snow globes, I think they are so magical. There was no way I could not buy these adorable ornaments. I also bought a mug with the initials “Y” on it. I was never lucky on finding my initials back in the states, but in Japan I find them everywhere. Yay! There was this sponge shaped like a popsicle, it was perfect to wash Jason’s sippy cups. Lastly, I bought the cutest spoon and stirrer for my mother in law. As soon as I saw it I told my husband, “mama law would love that.” She loves butterflies, so now when she comes to Japan her coffee will look pretty. Not only did they have the cutest shops, but they a lot of delicious food. We had a hard time deciding what to eat. We finally chose to eat chinese food. I had spicy rice with chicken, it was delicious. For dessert we went to a Hawaiian themed restaurant. We ate a shaved chocolate and banana pancakes. So yummy. Jason enjoyed them a lot. It was an overall great family day. Hope you all will keep up with my blogs and follow our little adventures in Japan.

Christmas, Mommy and Me, Shopping

Shopping in Japan.

When we were back in the states and my husband would have duty, Target was my favorite place to be. Since moving to Japan, I have been deprived from Target,  I miss strolling the Target aisles, especially the dollar section. Roaming the aisles helped me pass the time so I would not get bored and alone at home. There is only one store on base, the MCX, now do not get me wrong the MCX is great and has great deals but there is not much to see. One of my favorites stores in Japan is this magical dollar store called, Daiso. I call it the dollar store on crack. It kind of puts the dollar store in the states to shame. Obviously, the merchandise they sell is Japanese, but they sell the cutest things; from toilet scrubbers and house goods to cheap Disney things. I love that place, but it still can not replace Target. I think the japanese heard our cry because they opened a store called, Nitori, it is like a japanese Target. Since, my husband dreads coming to stores with me, Jason and I took a little trip to check it out. It was not as good as Target, but it did the trick. They had the cutest christmas decorations and decor. I will definitely be going back to stroll the aisles and pretend it is Target. Although, I do not have a Target or a Hobby Lobby and I have to wait forever and a day for my packages to arrive. Japan has been an amazing, once in a life time experience. Many more new experiences and adventures to come.
